So, what did our students and teachers do in January? The younger children ran to school because they had plenty of snow to play in, as well as learning. For many years now, there has hardly been any snow in Ukraine in winter. But this year, we have a real winter! The children came up with the idea of building a colourful hut out of ice blocks. They worked so hard! Seeing how happy they were made us forget about our cold, dark homes for a moment.
The older students weren't so keen on the snow. They immersed themselves in their studies.
Despite sleepless nights due to rocket and drone attacks on the city, the students had all these classes regularly: algebra, geometry, languages, history, literature, sex education and crafts, as well as eurythmy. The students attended all these classes regularly, despite the sleepless nights caused by rocket and drone attacks on the city.
We have become accustomed to doing our work at times when the rest of the world would consider it impossible..
